Sure thing, The proposed date with current hardware is by this friday I hope to have most of it done and it online for testing, (It would be through my cable modem at the time)

The stats of the current box are:

P-2 300
196 megs of ram (1 x 128meg PC-133 (donated) 2x32meg PC-100 (on loan)
10 GIG Ultra DMA 66 WD Hard drive
Server case with custom AC(power not air cond.) cooling duct for dedicated CPU cooling

D-link 10/100 nic
3Dfx (2d/3d) Video card

The connection for the box is an OC-12, I have from a friend his Co-locate for a local ISP, this is a 400 a month for the physical box and 100 dollars a month for a 64K/sec bandwidth, He is giving me his space for free, and no limit on the bandwidth unless we start using to much, (Which we shouldn't be)

It also has a pool of 40 dollars to buy hardware, I need to get this machine up to 256 meg's of PC-133 ram (or maybe some PC-100) and a dual CPU system. Jator has offered his 550 Mhz dual CPU box for 250. I would like to get this for the game server. Most of the older members remember how I ran 3 game servers before, on T3 access for nothing, it was a service I wanted to do for the team. But I no-longer work at that location, so a new solution needed to be found.

It will run UT, Q3, and many many other games, all controllable by my web interface that I made (ask the old users, it was pretty cool. )

Only 64K/s on an OC12? Oh well, that's enough bandwidth for roughly 16 players to have a good lag free game, so its definitely enough .

I wasn't very clear, I have no limit on the bandwidth, but if we start using too much, then a limit will be made. But, the 3 game servers I ran before never had enough usage to be noticed. I am confident that we will have more then enough bandwidth.
