HELP GA-965p-ds3 dead bios

I have no idea where I can get a new bios chip for this board. The bios is completely dead after a failed flash. Does anybody have any suggestions?

I'm still confused about the actual replacement process. I'm guessing I have to solder at some point?

If you are lucky, it is a socketed chip. If it is a soldered on chip, then you'd probably be better off just buying a new mobo.

yeah usually gigabytes come with a bios recovery system of some sort. check the manuals. if not then rma if possible? if not just buy a new board.

Well this board is very old, it's soldered on bios chips. I'm aware of gigabytes bios recovery, however the hdd that the bios was on has been formatted and that bios recovery no longer exists. It's not really like I need the board for immediate use, I use my IP35-E, I just wanted to throw together a system with the new e3200 Celeron to overclock and play with for a low price. Now I guess I'll sell this board for parts or something.

I had a bad flash happen a few months ago popped out the chip and sent it to biosman to be flashed
easy as pie!

The thing is, I don't know how to pop out the bios chip, at all. If you have the 965p-ds3 and could explain how, I'd appreciate it. It's not one of those pop in chips I believe. I can take a photograph of the board and put it up if necessary.
