Hi there,
Im from Brazil and I've been a visitor for 7 years now on Anand's website.
I'm here to say how desapointed I am about a MSI product: a 790gx-G65 mb.
I've downloaded the latest bios from the MSI website (v1.5) and used my 16gb pen drive (ntfs) to store the file. Then upon the mb menu, selected the option "M-FLASH" and followed the steps....everything was fine, asked for a reboot.
Then, my MB was "dead". It only sends 4 bips and then 2 long ones, then it will repeat itself. And it never worked again.
I've tryed help on MSI forum but got banned from saying that this fucking problem was an MSI shit on the users, becouse the so called "m-flash" feature has a serious flaw (and I've only started to see that when I was looking for help on the net). This option makes a MB defective on reboot always.
I've tried the bios recover procedure (crtl+home) and no signal from floppy, usb or dvd was found. Only 4 bips.
I think MSI should reconsider using this "feature" since its a serious problem for end the user. Now, I'll be looking for a specialist to "try" to repair the MB, since no other option had worked.
And since they care for Anands reputation on the web, I think this may help.
Bye.
