Help! FPS2000 speakers don't work on Fortissimo 3

I know that you cannot use the FPS2000 4.1 speakers on non-creative cards without buying some sort of jack, but I'm not sure what I need.
Can anyone help?

I am using my FPS2000 speakers with a Santa Cruz using the analogue out jacks. You need 3.5 mm (pretty sure this is the correct one) stereo mini plug wires for both the rear and front channels. Connect accordingly.

hooked it all up right, get sound out of the front two speakers, but not the rear ones :/

it's set to 4.1, i've tried the audio test in the driver control panel. just the front two have sound

nevermind, just needed a reboot
