I was upgrading the bios on the k7s5a pro when power in my house blinked. power went out on my comp. and now it won't boot.

How to fix?!

Does the pc attempt to look for a floppy ? It so you may be able to do a boot block recover.

You will need to get a new bios chip or Get the old chip re-flashed...

yes tried resetting cmos via jumper and by taking out cmos battery. no dice.

just tried boot block recover. worked. THX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

phew!!!! 🙂

mental note: buy ups next time i update bios 🙂
