Just a reminder? If you haven?t already, be sure to check out http://xp-refresh.net and learn about the refresh rate limitations in Windows XP and how you can help get Microsoft to fix them in the next release of Windows. :)

Linkified!!!

Thanks for the info JasonWebb - This is one of the first things I noticed about Win XP, who is the idiot over at Microsoft who thought to take out that 'optimal' setting for the refresh rates. I can only imagine how many XP users right now are running their monitors unknowlingly at 60Hz!! :(

Hmm, what the hell are you guys talking about? I get my choice of refresh rates of my Samsung 900NF and my Sony G520 using a PCI ATI Rage128 card and an nVidia GeForce3 (both refresh at 85Hz). Moreover, my girlfriend is running 85Hz refresh rate on her PCI ATI Rage128 Pro ALL-IN-WONDER on her Sony monitor.

You talking about under games? Why not download the nVidia refresh rate fix for WinXP ???

EDIT: You guys download any "driver" files for your monitor? I don't see why you can't get a decent refresh rate...also, NEVER use the "optimal" setting if that's available--I always set it to whatever I want my refresh rate to be.
