i jumped in the lake with me cell in my pocket not thinkin....it comes on now afte ri dried it out but there is water under the lcd how can i get it out????

My wife did this and it worked. You know those anti-moisture (not sure the real name for them) bags you find in some electronics, or in beef jerky containers? She put a bunch of these in a ziplock bag with her phone, and left it there for a bit... YMMV

vote for the dessicant bags. it would also work better if it were kept in an airtight, hot (but not too hot!) container, so that the water evaporates more quickly.

Actually, I believe putting the phone in air flow will dry it quicker. I might be mistaken, but I remember someone demonstrating this when we got one of our logs wet, and we had to dry it. He stuck it in front of the AC for 30 minutes, and it was like new.

So if you happen to have a spare 120x38 high speed Sanyo Denki around... hehehe
