Help fitting Maze 4 GPU cooler to 7800GT

Hi

I recently got a Maze4 GPU cooler from ebay thinking it would fit my 7800GT. I tried to fit it the other day and the holes don't match up.

It didn't come with any kind of backplate and I was wondering if this was what I needed to fit it properly? If so, which of the two that are available do I need?
