Help first SATA

I am building about my tenth pc, but this is the first one to use a SATA hrd drive setup. The mobo is an AG8 Abit (I like their boards alot, just seem to work out OK for me), and the HD is a WD 80 gb.
I have been reading the manual regarding bios setup, and I am a bit confused. What shoud I set the bios to for the SATA drive? I don't plan on doing a second drive or RAID as yet, just want to get the machine up and running without getting all screwed up.
Any suggestions appreciated!

OK Thanks! I am gonna finish up the box this weekend. I wasn't gonna add a floppy drive since I hardly ever use them, but I might as well. I did transfer the drivers to a flash usb stick, but the floppy is good insurance just in case. I'll post to let y'all kno how it worked out.

um... usb ports? I thought they were standard?.... wtf.....

In a Tiger Direct flyer I got they had this floppy drive that also read flash cards. I'm thinking about putting one in my next system because it's a bit of a waste to have a floppy for 1 thing (SATA).

You need the floppy to load SATA drivers during installs and for bios updates. Just spend the $10. If you don't use it you don't use it, but you're better off having it and not needing it than needing it and not having it at like 3AM. Also, get a standard cheapy PS/2 keyboard if you don't already have one. Same principle as the floppy.
