*HELP* FireFox wont display pages correctly

Well, I had this problem earlier and I never found a way to fix it so I just went ahead and reformatted the comp anyways since it needed one. Well, it fixed it for a while till today it happened again. What happens is that some pictures for websites dont get displayed probably, and fonts and what not. I have included a picture of what it looks like if I go to www.espn.com home page..

Anyone know how to fix this? This doesnt happen when I use IE

Not sure.

The espn.go.com website displays correctly on my browser, and I am using firefox.

There is a couple different things. Check and make sure that you have the flash stuff setup correctly.
Here is the flash/shockwave test pages. http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/welcome/
Shockwave doesn't work for me because they never released a version for Linux, I dont' know if there is a version for Windows + firefox. But the flash stuff works fine.

Also check out your preferences.
Goto:
edit ---> preferences --> web features --> load images

Check to make sure that load images is allowed to load images that are coming from places other the originating website. On that espn.go.com they have imported images and they won't get displayed if you have that option selected. Store.apple.com is another page that won't look right without you allowing to load images from other websites.

If none of that is what the problem is check out the mozilla forums at mozillazine.org website and I'd bet that they have a fix for you.

it has something to do with banners not formatting into the page properly, this happens to me sometimes, but it's not a problem for me

It looks like a style sheet didn't load for whatever reason.

Works fine for me in firefox.

Sometimes they don't load for me as well, but it has only ever happened on my own website.

well I went over to FireFox's board and saw that A LOT of other people are having this issue. I guess it can be easily resolved by just pushing refresh and everything aligns itself back up.

And yes, I tested with other browsers and IE works fine

Hmmmm, It seems that the problem is actually still existing even after I have hit refresh..

YAR...

Anyone else know what could be happening?

Some of the style sheets are not loading.

go to: View > Page Style > No Style
and you can see what it would be like if no style sheets loaded.

As to why this happens, I have no idea.
