Help! Firefox doesn't work!

I installed Firefox today, at the suggestion of a friend, and after dealing with literally hundreds of adware and spyware programs and being fed up with I.E., and the installation seemed to go fine... I opened it up, transferred my favorites and everything, but then no websites would load. On the status bar it just says "Done," but the screen is blank. I've tried typing in other urls, re-installing flash... My java's up to date, so I don't think it could be that. Can anyone help me? Am I missing some essential driver? Is it just not reaching the internet? What should I do?

It's probably the spyware or adware that is fubaring up your system. Schadenfrosh (sp) will help you out..

Does IE load websites? You most likely transfrered all the nasties over to firefox using the imports and something fubared it.
