Any/All help is appreciated on this.
I've got a 2.4Gig Dell Dimension 4550 that I am attempting to connect a USB 2 internal flash card reader to and I am having the worst time trying to find USB connector pins on the motherboard.
Dell support has not been exceedingly helpful, though they have tried. I wanted to see if any of you might have some advice on what I should be looking for or possibly a source for detailed diagrams of Dell motherboards or some such thing.
The following is the only description of the motherboard that I could come across while browsing support:
Dell Part # 2U819 Card (Circuit), Planar (Motherboard), DIM4550, A/N
I guess it's a possibility that the board has no pins for it. There are 5 free pins on the back of the Front I/O Panel that could be related, but I'm a bit wary of burning it out.
