its always so sad when a thread never gets off the ground...

why don't you just buy one from a company that sells refurbed golf equipment. there are about a million ads in any golf magazine.

the head i want is a new item, and i dont need to spend 400 on it,when the shaft is 100 alone.

so you want to find someone to sell you a used head even though it is a relatively new product. okay i understand now.

you cannot get the heads alone. none of the companies will sell them, so jokers don't try to put them together themselves. any after-market shaft also voids any and all head warranties. and by the way, if you spent 100 bux on a shaft, you got robbed. LD shafts are no where near 100. Harrison pro's and the Speeder are ill-suited for long drive competitions.

find a retailer that will sell you the TEC for close to wholesale (318), or better yet, if you know an owner of a retail shop, get him to get the driver for you using the PUD program ping has. 50% off of wholesale.

ping offers the Penley in the TEC at a small upcharge. both the Stealth 60 and 70. i think the wholesale goes up to 325. if you are planning on LD contests, i hope you got the XXSTIFF. you will want the shaft to be at least 46.5 inches, and by adding the extra inch and a half, you effectively change the stiffness two rungs. the XX becomes a regular stiff. in the stealth 70, that equates to 130 mph at 46.5 inches.
