Help finding an artist

I'm trying to find the name of a particular artist and figured there is a chance someone on ATOT might recognize the description and know who it is.

I've seen several pictures by this artist. The main subject seems to usually be a young woman in a very tranquil setting, dressed in filmy, light gauzy outfits. Enough to make a guy take notice, but still tasteful. There's typically a very detailed background, usually with mountains, etc. In one of the pics, the woman was reclining on some kind of lounge chair and on another she was on a swing. The paintings have a very light and airy feel, with lots of soft colors, a lot of greens and blues. In general, they would look find on the cover of a fantasy book.

It's not too much to go on, but I know that it's a well-know artist, I'm just drawing a blank on the name. TIA!

If I had to guess, I'd say older, but there really isn't a frame of reference. There's not much to date a painting of a girl on a swing with a mountain in the background, unfortunately.

That painting is from the Romanticism movement, but the description above suggested that it could be Superealism, or Impressionism.

I personally think it could be the popular movement Imperssionism. (Monet/Manet/Degas)

[Edit]Just remembered it could also be from the Baroque era. (Rubens)

Nope, none of those - The feel isn't like the old impressionists. Man, this is annoying. I should know who this is, but am just drawing a blank. It's one of those that you see at every poster store.

AHA! Does she have red hair? John William Waterhouse.
Or any of the other Pre-Raphaelites: Leighton, Rossetti, Dicksee, Hacker, etc.

"Flaming June" is a classic from the period.
