I ride my bike mostly year round for commuting. I had a pair of gloves last year that were great. I found them at a department store and over the winter I managed to lose them.

They are the type of glove that are the "lobster" mitten style. But you an fold that part to the back of the hand and have a pair of half finger gloves all in one.

Does anyone know what I am talking about and where I can find a pair? :)

Thanks

Believe me I have turned my house upside down looking for these things. They were my favorite gloves I have ever bought. I must have 10 pairs of gloves that I don't like. :(

They had a tougher palm to them and I like that I could get the dexterity when need by just flipping the mitten part back.

I think these are what you're thinking of? Second from the left. IIRC, a buddy of mine got a pair similar to these at Sears.

From a quick GIS, the "lobster" gloves look quite different, but more high tech and probably worth the investment for waterproofing, breathability, etc.
