help finding a laptop bag

I just ordered a Dell 5150 (from the thread in hot deals, thanks) any way, im looking for a messenger bag style laptop bag that doesnt look like a laptop bag. All the ones i have seen so far scream "I am carrying something far to expensive to be strapped to me by nothing more then a cloth strap!"
my price range is Mad cheap - $50ish
i dont really care if it can hold much else, im seriously considering shoving some padding into my messenger bag i got from structure back in the day. thanks all
 
I don't know what a "messenger bag style" laptop bag is, but I bought this one from Compgeeks.com for $18. It's a backpack style bag, and works great. I have a Latitude C840, one of the biggest Dell makes, and it's a perfect fit. I have no complaints about it at all and whole-heartedly recommend it.
 
you could always buy a laptop sleeve and just put that in your messenger bag. it would work just fine. btw, nice laptop.
 
hatter, where can i find a sleve like that. i found one at office max today, but its grey black and just a hint of BRIGHT blue. and im not sure if my new laptop will fit in it. the sleve inside seems kinda small. but its only $30 dunno.

i remember someone posting a link to a really nice place to get custom ones. i'll have to look that up. i'll post if i find it. compusa usually carries the caselogic ones.

messenger style bags that don't look like laptop bags. They've even got laptop sleeves you could use inside the bag. I've got the 'Very Busy Man' bag and it is nice, I cart 2 laptops around in it, and they both weigh over 7 pounds each.
