HELP!! Extended disk access to either drives fail, but normal use o.k.

Hi, I just upgraded to a Epox8kta3+ 1.3. Not oc'ing, CPU temp is stable at 46-47, internal case temp is 10 degrees less. My computer works fine under normal use for any amount of time, but if I try to do large disk copies or deletions, for Drive C, it crashes my computer after about 5 minutes, and for Drive D, it makes it not responding. It seems small transfers are o.k. I can run scandisk without errors. SIsoft HD benchmark freezes after about 5 minutes.

any ideas?
