Help: Error loading Operating System

I have WD 60GB 5400 RPM ATA 100. After Win 2000 installation (format it w/ NTFS), somehow never load the OS. This is the error msg:Error loading Operating System

When I connect to my other HDD, it shows that all the installation files are there. I did this 3x with Win2000 and 3x with Win XP. No luck! Now I only can use it as a secondary drive. Appreciate your help 🙂

Hello,

Did you format and install with the drive set as master or slave? Generally if Windows is installed on a drive that is in the slave position it will not make it bootable.

When I install it, I only connect 1 HD and 1 CD-Rom. Yet, failed to load the OS.
I set the jumper to Cable Select and put only 1 drive per IDE ribbon.

But I will try what you said one more time - Hope it works now 🙂

Thank you Guru!
