ok so i just got new ram, Kingston pc3200 hyperx, 2 sticks of 256mb, so i plugged thme in and started it up, worked perfectly, shut it off cuz i went out, when i got back, tried to start up the comp, and the LED display on my epox 8rda+ motherboard says 02. I looked in the manual and next to 02 it says "reserved". There is no phone number to call epox for support, i tried flashing bios, but i cant even get to the bios post screen. I tried reseting CMOS but that didnt help, neither did moving the RAM into different slots. Tried each stick seperatly but that didnt work.

My setup is
AMD 1700+
epox 8rda+
2x256 mb Kingston ghyperx pc3200
powMAX 400w PSU
60gb Maxtor HDD
120GB Seagate HDD
DVD drive
DVD-rw drive

this has never happened before, so i am thinking that it has something to do with the ram i just got, but i really have no idea. I have tried everything i know that could fix it but still no working computer.

If anybody knows whats wrong or has any ideas please reply

thank you

Yes 02, C1, C2 are many times related to memory or memory timings.

1) Power off
2) Press and hold the INSERT key while applying power.
3) If the screen is shown release the INSERT key and enter the CMOS
4) Go into the bios and change the memory frequency from "AUTO" to "BY SPD"
or "100%".
5) Retest.

Also try the following BIOS settings:

Memory Frequency = 100%
Memory Timing = Expert
T(RAS) = 7
T(RCD) = 3
T(RP) = 3
CAS Latency = 2.5
