I bought this mobo from newegg.com weeks ago, and I thought there's no problem during the installation. After I turn my compter off for hours, I can't get it on. I press the power button and the cpu fan spins for a second then stops. I have to keep pressing and releasing the power button and after a while (usually 5 mins of messing) it works again. When it's up and on though, it's solid. If I turn it off and restart at this point, no problem. I just can't shut it off for overnight!! Any advices would be greatly appeciated!

I didn't have the problem on my 8kha+, but it seems to be common. You may try applying the fix mention here Epox Reboot Fix, but it means doing a BIOS flash which is always a risky proposition (if anything goes wrong while updating the BIOS you will probably need a new BIOS chip).

Post the specs of your system. Especially the PS power rating and brand. How much memory? How many harddrives etc. With that info perhaps we can see something obvious. I will say there seems to be an increase in 8KHA+ issues lately (After a long lull).

Another EPOX 8KHA+ booting problem. It's very common on this forum now. Make sure your board is rev 2.0 and not rev 1.3.

Kinda sux because 8KHA+ seemed like a solid board for a great price on paper but due to the batch of bad boards out there, I have to back away from it now on.

You can't believe everything you hear can you??

Rock solid here with my Epox 8KHA+,I`m using an Enermax 431w mind you :),I would suggest you try another PSU and get a good quality one. Also double check all connections to and from the board. I agree flashing to latest BIOS is worth a try.
