I'm putting together my rig right now, everything's connected, all jumpers checked, all connections checked, all power supply checked.

I plug in the power supply, I plug in the back of the power supply, I push the friggin power button, nothing.

I'm pretty sure it's the board and not the power supply because I can see the red led light up on the board and the POWER LED on the chassis front is lit. The hard drive, cpu fan, anything on the motherboard is not being powered. Fans are still, everything is not being powered up. If it was the power supply's fault, I wouldnt even get the red LED lit up right?

What da heck am I missing here?

Thanks.

-Solved-
Somehow it powered up after I redid everything... weird. Thanks anyways.

No idea what a multimeter is... and if it's a tool, I don't have it :(

This is so frustrating!

Yep, brand new.

The case is Antec SX830.

Power switch, led pins, everything... checked.

It's weird cause once I press the power button on the chassis, the LED on the motherboard lights up, and the chassis LED is lit up.

It must mean atleast some power is working and the motherboard isnt completely dead... right?
