Help enabling DMA on my HPT370 controller

I'm running an ABIT KT7A-RAID board in win2k. I know I have DMA enabled for my normal 2 channels, but on my Highpoint controller there isnt a place to enable dma.
When I run my ati vid card installer it tells me that "dma might not be enabled" for this. My two hard drives are on my this channel so I need to know if the ati prog is smoking the reefer or what the deal is.
I've seen quite a few KT7A-Raids in the forums. any suggestions?
BTW, my Highpoint is listed as a SCSI controller, so maybe thats why...
(I did a search and didnt see anything specific to dma for this type of issue)
