help: either monitor dying or VD3 dying?

the picture on my monitor is screwing up. I can adjust how tall the picture is. When I adjust how wide it is, the height changes as well. *grr*

When I run 1280x1024 (like I usually do), I can't see alot of the available picture.

Once, the monitor didn't shut off, but it wasn't getting the signal at all until I rebooted it.

Do I need to take my VooDoo3 back to the shop, or buy a new monitor?

Does it only do it in 1280x1024, or at all resolutions? Does it happen at different color depths as well? If it does it at all resolutions, I'd suspect the monitor, but there's no way to really tell unless you manage to get ahold of a good working spare video card to see if it does the same thing.

all resolutions, all color depths. The monitor is brand new, as of late June. The video card is new as of April.
