Sold an Intel Pentium 3 1.2Ghz processor on Ebay. Markings are as followed:

1200/256/133/1.475
SL5GN

Auction listed here

Guy bought the processor and says it doesn't work. Here's his message:

you did a great job of packing but the processor DOES NOT WORK. No Post Screen! My board on this particular computer (a BioStar ML6VQ)is capable of up to a PIII 1.4.

Biostar does not list the "ML6VQ" on their website, but it does list a "M6VLQ." Now I know my processor has a different voltage than most P3 processors. Does his motherboard (assuming he has the one listed on Biostar's site) support my processor? I can't seem to find any specific information based on what voltages it accepts.

I didnt have to look hard at Biostar's site to find cpu support here.

Odds are 99-1 he has the M6VLQ. Looks like it should work. None of the listed bios updates say anything about adding cpu support, and Tualatins are supported.

I saw the CPU support page, but aren't there like 2-3 different P3 1.2GHz processors?

Anyway, I'm giving him his money back. Sounds like he did everything he could. Not worth causing a headache over $40.
