Help! DVD Burner won't read anymore...

I was using Nero 8 Burning Rom to burn an audio CD which was slightly over the 80min limit, I think 84ish. Nero asked me if I wanted to try overburn to burn the disc, but warned me that it could damage the disc or the drive. I did a quick google search and figured it would be O.K. or worse case I would loose the disc.

Well, the burn failed, and now my CD drive won't read audio CD's, or game disks. Just treats everything as a blank CD.

I have the log from Nero after the failed overburn if that helps. Is there any way to recover my CD drive?

Its a DVD BURN LITE-ON|LH-20A1S SATA (black) if that helps. Thanks for the help!

sounds like the drive is dead, you could see if it will read any dvds.
in device manager, does it say its working fine?
also you could try updating the firmware on it. I had done that once before and it worked
if not may have to just by a new drive, or if its under warranty get it replaced.
