Help dual booting Linux Red Hat and Win98

I'm planning to format my comp this weekend and I would like to include linux in my reinstall. Are there any guides online or some advice on how to go about setting up my system to dual boot win98 and linux?
 
A friend let me borrow a copy from him so I could learn and see if I liked it... no reason really... you have a better suggestion I assume?
