HELP! Drivers for my 9800 won't install !!

i tried installingoriginal ati drivers and omegas and nothing's working.
Halfway through the install jsut stops and sits.
I clocked my cpu back to normal speeds tosee if that will help but it didnt.

Plz help me my pc looksl iek crap now!

I ran the uninstall utility + driver cleaner

You did run Driver Cleaner in safe mode right? I would also recommend you run cab cleaner as well like it says in the "readme file".Try a fresh download of some new ATI 4.5s drivers,remember to disable your anti-virus software before install in case that causes any problems,I`ve also known firewalls to cause driver install problems as well.

Btw we could do with more info like what motherboard you`ve.

Mobo: AS45gt w/ up to date bios and drivers

i went into safe mode and did asystem restore so atleast i still have my old drivers.
i tried installing the 4.5 andit wouldn't go through.

and when i try to open programs i get this error

Example.exe - unable to locate component
This application has failed to start because ATI.DLL was not found. Re-nstalling should fix it

^ it wont let me reinstall the drivers though
