Hi, maybe I installed something n make the sound card driver trouble.
The sound card driver installed but all is highlight at "control penel/ sound and audio devices ". Mixer cant be used. Checked at device manager, all driver seems to be ok n no "!" sign.
I tried to reinstall the driver and uninstall the driver at save mode but cant help.
One thing I noticed is that when I open the mixer, a box popup n shows a dll file return an error.
I think the sound card can be decected but only the drive problem.
-Sound card is creative 5.1
-xp sp2
I believe the problem can be sloved if I restore the ghost image. But I just wanna know the reason.
