So our dog Rose, 3 yr old golden sheaperd for those keeping count, has managed to find a rotten chicken egg and bring it in the house with her. She took it in to the bedroom and managed to break it open.

how do we clean it?
what will kill the smell?
and what do we do if the dog ate some of the egg?

Yeah, you need some kind of oxidizer to get rid of sulfur. The problem is oxidizers usually bleach items, so use something like Oxiclean (they have it in a spray now).

Okay listen... there is a line between blaming it on the dog and making up a cockamamie story about rotten eggs and dogs and cleaning products...

Just lay off the tacos and hot wings... maybe try some beano?

Baking soda or vinegar also will work.
Just don't apply both at the same time.

Or apply both at the same time and have foamy goodness fun!
