I just bought a new BFG 8500gt pci-e video card to replace my old asus x300 pci-e video card. After i installed it to my system , there is no signal display to my LCD. (black screen) My LCD used the basic 15pin o/p connection.

I tried to change another 400w power supply but still doesnt work.
My motherboard is asus A8N5X. It has only 1 pci-e slot so it doenst support SLI. North Bridge is nForce4.

Does anyone knw how to solve it. thanks.

did you uninstall the drivers?

replug your old card in and use driver cleaner pro while in safe mode.

Then, take the card out. Put your new card. Install the new drivers.

If all else fails, then put your hard drive in a different computer and delete your old drivers.

i just found out the reason is the KVM. w/o using KVM all works fine. :)
With KVM, it works only after access windows. there is no signal b4 access windows even in bios. i dono why.
