Hello....I have a few questions I hope somebody can answer.
1) I reviewed my Router Log and it states that "TearDrop Attack Detect (sorry don't remember the IP address) Packet Dropped. What does this mean? Is someone trying to compromise my computer? How can I prevent this from happening again? Please Help, I am really worry about this. I am still running Windows XP SP1a with all the updates. No spyware, malware or any virus at all.
2) I set up a wireless internect connection for my niece. Every couple of minutes she get disconnected; I have no problems with my connection at all. When I configure her adapter I notice there were other wireless connections besides the one I set up for her. I have no idea how that happened. I can't delete or remove them at all. How do I go about this? I have WEP Encryption enable of 128Bit. Authentication as a Shared Key (should I leave it as Open System or WPA-PSK?). Not sure if this has anything to do with the problem.
Sorry for the long post but any help will be deeply appreciated.
