at my work we have facebook blocked.

the issue i am running into, is that alot of pages have "like" buttons and such on them. The problem i am getting is that instead of not displaying the button firefox is showing a large "network page is denied error" that covers up most of the content i want to see.

If i wait 5 or so minutes, that screen will go away.

Is there a way to not show that screen?

Block them with Adblock. I use Fanboy's Ultimate list, and it blocks social network buttons(they're trackers). You could also use one of the other lists that cover them, maybe EasyPrivacy? That should get rid of the error, cause it won't try to load the crap in the first place.
