i have a EVGA 896-P3-1260-AR GeForce GTX 260 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card. and im looking to connect 2 displays to it, a 19" lcd via dvi and a (Panasonic VIERA 46" 1080p) via HDMI. im looking to watch movies on the 46" lcd and play the games on the 19".. but what would be the best why to do that 1 dvi out to a splitter then 1 to 19 and 1 to 46, or have a switch 1 to 19 and 1 to 46, and just switching between them??

If you search Newegg for "DVI Splitter" you'll come up with some DVI cable splitters and some DVI switches. From reading the reviews the cable splitters aren't working but the switches do work. The switches are a little pricy though.
The pictures of the card show that it has two DVI outputs, why not hook both displays to the card?

The drivers won't let you disable one display while using the other? If they do, this would be the easiest method and give you the best quality display.
