[Help] DirectCD incompatibilities between HP and Plextor???

The situation is that I have a 4X HP burner at work (9100 series) and a 4x Plextor burner at home (8/4/32). I make directcd discs out of Memorex certified 4x CDRW at work. I bring them home... out of 3 discs, only one was readable in the plextor. All three are readable at work as CDRWs, and all three are readable at home in my other drive which is a DVD reader. This is driving me crazy - I've tried updating the directcd software, updating firmware, all without any luck.

Any ideas?
