Help! Digital Camera Waterproof Case Confusion!

I'm going to be going to some local springs and rivers to snorkel and dive and I would like to take my Canon S300 along for the trips.

They seem to have two different cases though, and it's a bit confusing!

At the canon site they show this.

You get the model number: WP-DC500

But searching online I came across this.

Model number: WP-DC100

This closest I have come to figuring out which to get is buy looking at this listing from canon.

It shows the WP-DC100 for the "Elph" and the other for just the "Powershot",

which contradicts what they give in the accessory listing for the camera.

Please help me find out some hard facts!

The buy.com one (WP-DC100) is for the S300. The one you linked on Canon's site is for the S330. They are different models that are similar in size, but the location of the buttons (and possibly the lens as well) is different.


The one at buy.com is the one you want for your S300.
