Help! Digital Camera selection!

I have a dilemma. Originally I was going to kick in $150 of my own money and ask for a Canon S200 for Christmas. However, there is a new Hot Deal that is tempting. I want a digital camera that is small, so I can bring it lots of places with me. I'm a big photography person, but this camera purchase won't be to replace my Nikon N80, this one is just to take pictures of friends, family, etc... basically it's what you use a 35 mm point and shoot for.

I love the styling of the s200, and the size, but the Fujitsu doesn't look that much larger and is a lot cheaper.

Any advice?

I would go with canon. They make quality cams and it shows in the pictures taken. Sony cams aren't bad either. How much is the canon cam you want? Panasonic came out with a new digital camcorder/camera that basically fits in the palm of your hand. Really really nice....priced at 400 though =\

Personally, I think Canon has the market cornered in both digital cameras and printers right now.

To compare various cameras, best bet is to look at dpreview, here.

I personally perfer the Nikon Coolpix series of digital cameras. I think the Nikons are still ahead of the Canons, but not by much.

I personally own a Coolpix 4300, and my brother has a 5000. A co-worker owns a 995. All awesome cameras.
