HELP! Did I Just Kill My MOBO!?!?!

So I'm all fine and dandy installing a Hyper 212 cooler. So you know how it has standoffs that go on chip socket side of the MOBO? Well this particular cooler has standoffs you must screw into the socket side of the cooler where the heatsink itself will attach itself to.

Anyways, somehow, these standoffs have scratched the circuit board below them which has :banana::banana::banana:ing circuits going through it. Why the :banana::banana::banana: would Gigabyte put printed circuit going so near the goddamn heatsink screws holes?

I swear if I just bricked it, Cooler Master and Gigabyte are going to pay me for a new motherboard for their goddamn design flaw(s).

this is the area from a review for the cooler where i meant by standoff and circuit board, apparently on my mobo the circuit doesnt go around the hole as here?

From his pic he's got the black washer on the standoff but it's all squished down.

How many foot pounds of torque did you put on the standoff nuts on the back plate? They are supposed to be just snug, since if I remember correctly they are left hand threaded.

And before you start ranting how do you know it's bricked? Fire it up and report back.
