Help: Dial-Up Config screwed up now....

I need some help. I just put a second computer together and I was trying to set up Internet Connection Sharing, but now I have gone and messed my regular internet connect through dial-up. Before I started trying to get ICS, I had the two computers networked and was able to play LAN games, but NO internet sharing. Now I have tried to configure the two computer using information on the internet and I

1) LOST the network connection between the two computers

2) my main computer can no longer use the dial up!

I really don't know what to do, but reformat the computer/s. I don't want to do that, but it seems I am digging a deeper hole for myself each time I try something.

The main system runs WinXP Pro and has a modem and LAN.

The second system runs WinME and has a modem and LAN, too.

Help!

No need to reformat.

Just Uninstall the Network components on both computers, and reinstall them Manually (no wizards).

ICS actually stands for I Crash Systems (ICS).

When you say uninstall and then install manually, do you mean I need to PHYSICALLY remove the hardware

or

are you saying that I can uninstall the software from Windows?

Thanks.
