I'm just looking for any recommendations on Help Desk software. The only one I've used before is Remedy (at another company). The company I am currently working for is fairly small (maybe ~150 employees), but has reached a point where they would like a better system for tracking help IS related help requests. This is partially being driven by the need to track goals for the IS department for ISO.

Anyway, I'm just looking for some recommendations that are hopefully not too expensive (maybe <$2000). Otherwise we are just considering coding something ourselves.

Thanks!

We use Track-It! 7 Enterprise where I work. We're a district library system with a main Service Center and (18) branch libraries all connected via a WAN. Our department supports roughly 250 staff in the organization.

We've been using the Track-It! product since version 6.0 and really like its capabilities for both HelpDesk support as well as inventory and asset management. :)
