Hey,
My roommate just got a Dell Inspiron 1100 with a Dell Truemobile 1150 wireless (802.11b) card. I'd been running my wireless router with SSID broadcast off, MAC filtering, and 128-bit WEP. The MAC filtering was invisible to the laptop (of course) and the SSID broadcast wasn't an issue, I just told it what to use, but I couldn't make it log on with even 64-bit WEP, I had to disable it completely. I tried SSID on and off, rebooting, everything to get it to play nice with WEP. The router is a Netgear MR814v2. Similar experiences / ideas?
Thanks all,
Rob
