HELP. Dell sound driver????

I just got an E1405 and reinstalled XP pro and now I cant get any sound to work. I didnt get the upgrade to audigy so I assume I am using the SigmaTel crap but nothing works. When i try to install the driver it just beeps at me and says the hardware doesnt match the driver. Any ideas. I really wanna get this damn thing up and running.

Have you tried downloading the driver off the Dell downloads site?

Did you install the chipset driver too?

I just tried to install windows again and it worked
