Help Deciding...DVD and TV Playback

I have finally had it transferring shows from my ReplayTV to my PC and then converting them to burn, so I have decided to forgo the 12.95 a month fee along with the headache of transferring files, and integrate my media stuff into my PC. I just got a new Dell 2005FPW and a set of Logitech Z-5500's, so I am pretty set in the hardware department. I would like my PC to be able to:

- Record TV, Pause, Rewind, etc.

- Be able to export recordings to DVD

- Playback DVD's at the same quality or better than my Progressive Scan Sony DVD Player and HDTV

So far I am pretty set on the following items:

- Hauppauge PVR-150MCE TV Tuner Card

- Firefly Remote Control

- Snapstream BeyondTV 3.5

What I would like to know is how to achieve the best DVD playback qaulity, what software to use for it, and what plug-ins or encoders do I need to make it the best possible quality?

I appreciate any help!

Unless you intend to put another Happauge card in at the same time, and running MCE 2005; the MCE version is a waste of money. Just get the PVR-150 which includes everything you need.
