help deciding budget motherboard

hey, deciding between these two boards:

Gigabyte GA-770TA-UD3 http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...e&promoid=1046

MSI 790X-G45 http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...r&promoid=1046

the Gigabyte one has USB3.0, the MSI one has the ability the crossfire/sli. i don't know how useful USB3.0 will be for me, and i don't see myself going dual-gpu given my budget constraints.

without taking those into consideration, is there anything else that anybody knows about these boards? specifically, overclocking ability?

You don't need a full-size ATX board if you don't want multi-GPU. A mATX one can fit the bill.

Much better choice IMO, also has USB 3.0 and HDMI. Decent onboard graphics to fall back on in case your video card fails. Given its a Gigabyte OCing is a breeze.

Thanks. I was under the impression that mATX was made for HTPCs...are they used a lot in regular builds now?
