Help decide which 32" 720p LCD HDTV?

I'm in the market for a 32" LCD television.

Looking at this one from Panasonic:
TC-32LX70

Or this one from Toshiba:
32HL67U

The Panasonic I can get a better deal on (I think) money wise.

Which should I go with?

Both of those choices are very nice TV's, but the Toshiba has 3 HDMI & 2 component inputs vs 2/1 on the Panasonic plus it also uses a 10-bit LCD panel which results in somwhat better color reproduction & to my eye at least the Toshiba also has deeper black-levels.

I'm not going to shop around for you, but a glance at CC's website shows both models on sale for $799 so with a 10% discount coupon (available on e-bay) you can get either one for $719 plus tax & at the same price I'd go for the Toshiba ... how much cheaper can you get the Panasonic for?

I've been shopping around for this for a few weeks now, just making my mind up was the difficult part.

The price difference after the discounts I can get is negligible (about $30). Think I'm going to go with the Toshiba, looks like a better bet after comparing the two and seeing them in-person.

I would go with the Toshiba for me 3x HdmI is important and the blacks are richer IMO

I just ordered the Toshiba.

Hope it's a recently manufactured model.

Good move ... you should be very happy with it. (Btw my 32 was made in 9/07 & the 37 in 8/07)

I really liked my 32HL67 & the only reason I exchanged it was I decided I wanted somthing bigger, so I grabbed the 37HL67 instead... I actually tried a 37 inch 1080p JVC in between which I wasn't at all happy with & returned for the Toshiba.

The only other thing to keep in mind is that the VGA input on this TV is limited to 1024x768 for some strange reason, so if you plan on using it as a moniter for your PC you should grab a DVI to HDMI converter.

Let us know how you like yours when you get it in. I bought mine about a month ago for $604 (or was it $608?) and am loving it.
