help decide (2 different CDR)

they cost both almost the same:

Aopen CRW 1232 and LG CED 8280 b

Which one would you recommend me buying? Anyone has one of the drives and would share his experience with it?

A friend wants to buy one and he cannot afford to buy a SCSI Plextor
