:) Hi everyone.
I have been on this forum before and have found very helpful advice on how to get rid of viruses. Can some kind person help me out this time.

I have AVG. This morning I got 18 viruses come up on the daily check I run automatically. I got some in the vault, re ran AVG and some remained. Further navigation of AVG gave the following info: " Some of selected objects are located inside archive and cannot be healed" One option given was to " Hide viruses inside archives"

Does anyon have any ideas on how to get rid of the virus that apparently is named: Java/byteverify

Regards

Are you sure your Windows software is genuine? Where'd you get it from? Maybe it's a counterfeit, they're out there.

Hi Mechbgon.

I checked the AVG scan,, watched it processing yesterday. Usually it runs automattically and signs come up if there is virus. Well no signs since I got this virus. So I checked the activity log of the AVG, and the virus has gone. GREAT. I printed out your "down load the win_betaegndat .zip file. " doc, but didnt need to do it.

Thanks for your prompt response

Kind regards
