HELP CTRL+ALT+DEL Problems in Windows XP

Hi,
I was closing a Not Responding program and i clicked something. I dont know what it is. Now when i push CTRL+ALT+DEL i get the normal windows except that there are no menus on the top bar. I mean the bar that has the file menu. Im running Windows XP Pro

Cntl/alt/del should bring up the task manager window, not a browser. Reboot😉

i mean the task manager. I dont know were i said broswer.The top two line where you see:

File, ect...
Applications, Processes ect.

ARE MISSING
I rebooted 3 times

what are you seeing tho'? all the processes that are running on your computer or just a graph of CPU and Memory usage?

Im seeing only the applications running i cant switch between the app, or process or the graphs. The tabs are just not there.

I just wonder if the "administrator" is the only one too be able to use those functions. I didn't set mine up that way so I am guessing.

Double-click the border of the box. It should bring back the menus in the Task manager.

I wonder why Windows would even have that feature. Who would it help?

Maybe to keep others using your puter from messing with stuff, as long as they didnt know how to restore it.
