I need your help,

I tried to copy my office servers old HDD to new HDD, But accidentally started to copy from New drive to Old drive...
I stopped copying immediately after I realized what is happening (after about 1%). I had to turn off the computer to make the copying stop, after I restarted the computer complaint about missing OS etc...

The HDD had 2 partitions C: and D:

I placed the corrupt HDD into a another system with same OS, and it could see the C: partition, but not D: It also stated that there are no files in the C: partition.

I tried to reinstall Windows to C: partition, and when it ran Scandisk, it informed that the disks actual size is different than the "allocated" size... and would I like Scandisk to repair this. (sorry my bad english, I am from Finland and running a Finnish OS). I told Scandisk NOT to repair the size.

Now I have Windows on the C: partition, but all files I had there are gone, but what I really need to get back, is all the information on the D: partition.

Question is, can Scandisk repair this, if I allow it to repair the "partition table" or something?

Or, is there any good software that can return the lost partition to its original state (now that I know its exact size), and will all my files still be there?

Pls help
