Help. Copied but did not save,

Right, in win 98 I copied(select and then ctrl+c) a piece of text from an explorer window (ie 5.5). My intention was to paste this in word and then save it. However I forgot. Afther this I opend outlook express and closed it again. Afther which I turned off the pc. I haven`t turned it on since.

As the original of that text is gone, I like to know if my copy is still somewhere?

It is a long shot but Is there any way that the copied text is still somewhere to be found in windows????

Thankx,

Sorry, but I do not think so... (clipboard copy)

search your IE temporary directories.. maybe you find the temporary copy of the html page where you pasted your text from. (use your history to find the page faster)

Yes I`m afraid as well that it is gone for good. It was part of an email, which I send via Hotmail, however I did not save the outgoing message.

Anybody else any ideas?
