I think it's trying to run SLI configs on this board which seems a little juice happy and a lot of dual rail PSU's don't provide enough amperage on each individual 12v rail. This has 18a on each rail which seems like a good enough amount, or at least compared to the 15a on some others.

It doesn't matter whether the PSU has dual rails or not, the most important thing is that the total amperage on the 12V rail(s) is at least 25A if you plan to use FX55 CPU and 2X PCI-E 6800 Ultra in SLI mode.

I have that PSU but I got the one with Active PFC and i had 2 other Enermax PSUs before this one. They are very quiet and very clean power. I have herd many people say dual rails are both good and bad. Not to long ago i read an investigation into the issue where they compared the dual rail and the single rail in an SLI setup and the dual rail did just fine. If you?re looking into the Enermax just get it. You won?t be disappointed i promise!
